Educational Objectives

After the completion of this course, participants should be able to:

1. Identify clinical and radiographic signs of oral and maxillofacial disease

2. Demonstrate treatment options based upon clinical evidence of best

practices if the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery

3. Formulate comprehensive treatment plans based upon evaluation and

best practices utilizing current literature

4. Provide the tools necessary to analyze and evaluate treatment outcomes

in an objective manner

This course content does not reflect the case and exam material included in the ABOMS oral certifying examination
